About the Role
The EIT Higher Education Initiative (HEI), coordinated by EIT RawMaterials, is a flagship European programme supporting higher education institutions across Europe in innovation, entrepreneurship, and impact creation. Through funding, training, and community building, HEI supports collaboration between academia, industry, start-ups, and public stakeholders across Europe. More information here.
We are looking for a Working Student (m/f/d) in Communications & Marketing to support the execution of communication, marketing, and dissemination activities to deliver impactful campaigns, strengthen the HEI brand, and collect and disseminate the project’s impact. This role offers hands-on experience in content creation, digital marketing, and communications while providing the opportunity to learn and grow in an international, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Communications support: Support the execution of communication activities across digital channels (website, newsletters, social media)
Impact Storytelling: Coordinate with internal project teams to source success story content, testimonials, and visuals to develop brand narrative
Dissemination: Coordinate with multiple Project Officers to ensure structured collection and communication of project results, success stories, and best practices to ensure visibility and impact across European stakeholders.
Website Management: Support website updates, content uploads, and basic formatting
Internal Coordination: Assist with internal tracking, coordination, and reporting of communication and dissemination activities
Agency Coordination: Assist with content coordination and implementation in collaboration with an external communications agency
Requirements
Enrolled student in an advanced degree for communications, marketing, media studies, business, or related fields (Master's or equivalent).
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are an asset).
Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and/or website CMS (e.g., Drupal, WordPress, etc.) is a plus.
Structured, reliable, and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
Creative mindset, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn
