About EIT RawMaterials
As the world moves towards a greener future, the demand for raw materials—minerals and metals—is set to increase immensely over the next three decades. Europe faces a critical challenge in securing a stable supply of these essential resources, and this is where EIT RawMaterials steps in.
EIT RawMaterials is at the forefront of driving innovation and sustainability in the raw materials sector. As an Innovation Community within the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), we collaborate with over 300 partners across industry, academia, and research institutes. Together, we forge dynamic, long-term partnerships to develop innovative solutions that meet Europe's growing demand for raw materials.
About Girls Go STEM Initiative
Girls Go STEM is an educational initiative led by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology Community, coordinated by EIT RawMaterials, and supported by the Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport, and Culture of the European Commission. Our mission is to equip students, particularly young women, with digital and entrepreneurial skills through the Circular Learning Space, fostering sustainability awareness and preparing them for future careers.
Girls Go STEM empowers the next generation by providing free digital education, fostering sustainability awareness, and promoting equal opportunities. Through the Circular Learning Space, we equip young women with essential digital and entrepreneurial skills, preparing them to thrive in the careers of the future and drive positive change in society.
Having already reached more than 70,000 young learners and built a thriving European network of schools, teachers, and partners, GGS is now scaling its reach, expanding teacher upskilling, and introducing in-person learning activities such as industry challenges, workshops, and hackathons.
The Education Project Specialist (m/f/d) ensures the effective implementation of these activities, fostering collaboration between educational and industry partners, and contributing to the success of one of Europe’s leading youth education initiatives.
