About EIT RawMaterials
As the world moves towards a greener future, the demand for raw materials—minerals and metals—is set to increase immensely over the next three decades. Europe faces a critical challenge in securing a stable supply of these essential resources. This challenge is where EIT RawMaterials steps in.
EIT RawMaterials is at the forefront of driving innovation and sustainability in the raw materials sector. As an Innovation Community within the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), we collaborate with over 300 partners across industry, academia, and research institutes. Together, we forge dynamic, long-term partnerships to develop innovative solutions that meet Europe's growing demand for raw materials.
Our mission? To craft cutting-edge educational programs that equip professionals with the skills needed for a sustainable and green future.
About the European Raw Materials and Advanced Materials Academies
The European Raw Materials Academy, funded by the European Commission, supports upskilling and reskilling across Europe’s raw materials sector — from exploration and processing to recycling and circularity. It addresses key skill gaps in the industry, driven by sustainability, digitalisation, and industrial transformation, by offering future-oriented learning programs aligned with EU priorities such as the Critical Raw Materials Act.
The European Advanced Materials Academy, funded by the European Commission, aims to strengthen Europe’s leadership in advanced materials through targeted upskilling and reskilling. It focuses on the design, development, and application of advanced materials across industries, education systems, and research, providing innovative learning programs that align with EU strategies.
About the Role:
To support the development of learning offers for the academies, we are seeking a creative and technically strong Education Content Manager (m/f/d) to join our team.
The incumbent in this role will bring strong expertise in pedagogy design for adult learners and even stronger technical capabilities to build learning offers through a variety of technical tools.
If you love designing and developing educational programs and crafting engaging content, this role is for you. You will be pivotal in shaping our offerings, ensuring they are top-notch and ahead of the curve.
What You will Do:
- Support the pedagogy design of learning paths – You will create high-level designs to achieve learning outcomes with a focus on measurement of learning outcomes based on Kirkpatrick’s model of evaluation.
 - Storyboard content - Develop storyboards for modules of the learning path, preferably in the development tool.

 - Most importantly, you will develop learning experiences –
 - You will utilize a variety of course authoring and graphic design tools to develop modules respecting development quality benchmarks and agreed timelines.
 - You will develop modules that respect stringent EU accessibility standards.
 - Depending on the scope of the learning path, you can develop and publish modules as either SCORM or xAPI packages. You will also test and deploy them on the LMS.
 - Published modules can issue digital micro credentials using the EU framework.
 - Translate the modules into EU languages with support from linguists/AI tools.
 - Produce supporting documentation for your learning path for marketing and accreditation activities.
 - Review cycles of the modules – You will facilitate the review of modules with various stakeholders and implement their feedback within the modules.
 - Periodic updates of the modules – You will analyze learner engagement data and industry demand data to define the scope of updates to the modules. Next, you will collaborate with experts to implement updates into the modules.
